It's like any other city, except the people have lower standards for infrastructure, act a bit more entitled and proud, and they take up space quite aggressively.

We used to primarily learn things from people we knew, and the people we knew usually knew each other.

Now we primarily learn things from people we don't know, and the people we know usually don't know each other.

The result of this is that the variety of what we know has increased.
But the usefulness of what we know has decreased.

And we belong to tribes made of people we may never meet.

Our next great artists will be lost within the noise. Our cities and monuments are to rise from the imaginations of our bankers and lawyers.
